This number "861-5879" has also hit my phone under area code 504. Under 504, someone with a fake caller ID as Loyola Univ. has also been dialing 861-5845, 861-5849, 865-5879, and 861-5839. White Pages lists these numbers as one their list of heavily searched numbers.
Through White Pages I learned that the numbers were coming through Twtelecom, which is a highly-regarded system (formerly Time-Warner). I have written to the general manager for Louisiana, Michael Nictakis, as well as to the real Loyola University here in New Orleans, to advise them of this problem.
