IRS lawsuit scam

Generic robo call. Said IRS was filing lawsuit unless I called them immediately.

It's a scam. Do not give any information to them or return their call. They claim they are involve with the IRS, but they are not.

I just received a call from these [***].  Are there actually people that fall for this bullcrap???  IRS will NEVER tell you over the phone that they are suing you.  They ALWAYS handle business in writing and perform an audit before they take any  action.  Please don't tell me that people are falling for this obvious scam!  If they do, they need to take anti-stupid pills.
