Who called from 2028640314

Call threatening Arrest warrant from the IRS.  I never called them.

Got a call from 202-864-0314 saying that if i do not call them back a victor song from the irs.

Also received a call from this number on August 1, 2016. They left a voicemail which was a pretty garbled automated message (translated via google voice):

"Hello, this is officer Tom Harrison calling you from criminal investigation department and the reason for this call is to make you aware that we have received the criminal case filed against you and your social security number from Washington DC courthouse and internal revenue services, so the very second you receive this call. You need to call crime and investigation officer with irs, Mr. Victor Song and ask for your case details his number goes down to 202-864-2369. I repeat. It's 202-864-2369. If you do not return the call we will have to proceed with your arrest warrant by the end of day. Goodbye and have a nice day."

There are numerous telephone and email scams in which individuals claim to be employees of the Treasury Department. These scammers often state that they are from the “Department of Legal Affairs,” offer grant money in exchange for you wiring a small payment, or threaten to arrest you within a short period of time unless payment is made. Do not provide personal information or payment to these individuals.  Their actions are crimes under Titles 18 and 31 of the United States Code, and the Treasury Office of Inspector General is working to stop them.

If they claim to be from Treasury, report  it to [email protected] with a description.  If it was a phone contact, include:
the exact date and time that you received the call(s)
the phone number of the caller
the geographic location and time zone where you received the call
a description of the communication.

If they claim to be from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or it is about taxes, report it to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at:

I just received the exact same message but from a different # 206-823-3775.scam
