VERY SCARY!!! It is an Asian or Indian accented man who claims to be Officer Eric ? from the IRS. They don't state who they are or where they're from right away if they leave a message/voicemail. You may find out who "he" is when you call back. They leave a VERY threatening, rude and intimidating message regarding you having a lawyer or attorney and returning the call back immediately or you will face the consequences. It is a big scam. DO NOT freak or act on it whatsoever except report it. They do everything to try and convince you. MESSAGE/VOICEMAIL LEFT: "Don't try to disregard this message or not return the call. If you DO NOT return the call or if I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is I wish you good luck and the situation badly falls on you. So give me a call back when you get this message, thank you." If and when you try to call back if a second time, you get a disconnect sound/noise operator and she says all circuits are busy try again later. You'll never get through again.
When I told him that I didn't have time to do this and none of it made any sense at all, that I was working and I had to end this conversation and go..... he finally just said, "Okay." There was no contact name, number or follow up whatsoever.
I starting receiving the same pjone phone calls but I did call back and spoke with ao call officer Eric and was told the same exact thing. My reply to him was stop calling my phone and the next time that you do call I will file charges against him haven't heard from him sense.

I got a call from (202) 864-1222
DC, USA. He claimed his name was Office Eric Foster and I should call back immediately. I tried to call back this number and the number he gave. Both had no answers and the number he gave me went straight to voice mail
The number you are reporting is listed as being provided by a company called "Local Access LLC." It is not the company that is doing the calling (they just supply the number), and it is possible that, with number portability, the phone number could have been switched to another completely different provider. But if you want to file an actual report, I would suggest filing one with your local FBI office, because, based on your description, your caller may be impersonating a law enforcement officer and/or attempting wire fraud or extortion. If you do report the incident, you can provide this information about issuing a subpoena to Local Access LLC to get information as to who is actually using and paying for the number, or what company it may have been ported to. (But you need to realize that the number on your caller ID may have been spoofed and could belong to someone completely unrelated to your caller.)
