Who called from 2028641232

I received a threatening phone message from 202-864-1232 telling me I was being sued by IRS.

Can I assume this is a bogus call, and a scam?

Just got a second call today about an IRS suit telling us to call 202-864-1232... but this time from a different number:
(717-201-9216 name Dawn Siegrist... mobile phone in Pennsylvania).... I assume its spoofed or a hacked number or something.

Got two voicemails today of a woman claiming to be the IRS and this was my final notice before they filed a lawsuit against me.  It was a recorded voice with no accent.  The first time they told me to call 202-864-1232.  Second time was 202-864-1235.  Caller ID listed the calls coming from area codes 712 and 294.  I reported it to TIGTA.

Got 2 voicemail messages claiming to by IRS filing a lawsuit against us.

I received a call at each of our two homes with the same message. They represented themselves as the IRS and said that the IRS was about to initiate suit against us.
