yes told me the IRS had issued a warrant for my arrest. and needed more of my info so they could give to my lawyer. I said no I do not believe this and hung up.
This number stated that I had pending criminal charges against me and taht me or my attorney needed to call back (even provided a case number). When I calle dback, was informed by man with heavy middle eastern accent that it was the US Treasury Dept- Office of Legal Affairs, and that he was Senior Investigating Officer Richard Harris, located in Washington D.C. and when I asked to speak to superviosr, her hung up. I called back and spoke with a female with heavy middle eastern accent "Annie" and she claimed she was the only manager there and when I asked what it was in regards to, she told me that "It's none of your business. Shut your mouth" and then hung up on me.
I am pretty sure that government officials would not speak to people like that, much less hang up on people. Please persecute these cowardly individuals.
Received a threatening call from number (202) 864-1866, saying to call immediately or to have my attorney call. The person responding was obviously not from the Washington DC area. This is definitely a scam or illegal scheme.
Received call from woman with middle eastern accent. Difficult to understand her but she identified herself as a IRS agent and provided badge number. Said was a warrant out for my arrest due to failure to pay taxes in 2012-2013......I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said she was the supervisor......I again asked to speak to supervisor and she angrily informed me the police were on their way and to have a nice day:/
