Who called from 2028994000

It's that fake IRS scam.

I receive calls from this number intermittently and the caller claim to be from the Federal Government, claiming I have been randomly selected to receive a grant ranging from $4000 - $800. It's not repayable and how I use it is up to me.   Then the caller always in a heavy accent ask if I want to accept it. I never accept or give them any information about myself and when I ask questions they usually hang up.
Scammers, watch out.

These people are pretending to be with US treasury department have very heavy Indian accent cursed me out. They called from two different numbers

Unreal, same two idiots call to give me  $40K and doesn't want it back, right, have them blocked on several different numbers, NY and DC.

Trying to get my bank account number, heavy mid-eastern accent, hang up and block.
