Got a call from +20 2 899 9033, this is how it appears on my caller ID.. The caller ID reads its from Egypt, anyone else getting this?
They called twice, missed the 1st one and I was STUPID enough to answer the 2nd time. But they hung up before I got a word out.
These scammers just won't go away! This is the old 'you've been approved for a $3000 loan' scam. Based in India, I suspect (accents), these folks tell you that you've been approved for this $3000 loan and that the money will appear 'in minutes' in your account, if you just pay a $199 'processing fee'. I received a phone call from phone number 202 719 5535 claiming they were from The IRS and they were going to put my phone number on a black list if I didn't pay the IRS and a warrant for my arrest they sound very very convincing and are always Indian and said go go 7 11 and buy an I Tunes card scratch the number off the back and if you do poof you have just been scammed!!!Don't do it!!!
RWL658.. This is exactly what happened to me word for word.I almost fell for it except could not understand her and when I googled the number I found this I said is the processing feel 199. She said yes but you will get it right back...I hung up
