Hmmmm I had this happen to me just last week. I got an email with my CV attached from Wilfred Adams offering me a great job in Ghana. Flags raised early so we googled him and thankfully found sites like this. Great job and thank you for giving us the heads up.

ANonie: I say you are 100% correct. Too many red flags. A while ago someone wanted me to check out a job offer for them at a Banff, Alberta Hotel. They had a beautiful cut & paste web site, but with MANY spelling, grammar mistakes (Warning Will Robinson!). Same situation, the job offer led to an office building in downtown Vancouver. Job, Hotel, & address? All faked. Web site? Recent registry. That's the beauty of the Internet, when "a + b +c" doesn't add up to "d", there's a problem. Excellent article on this over at fraudwatchers. I don't think there is a day that goes by when you don't see an email posted for work at a Canadian Hotel. Yoo hoo! Labour laws! You CANNOT hire a foreign worker in Canada until you prove that someone here can't do it. Due to technical, or language issues. So you're trying to tell me that a worker in Canada can't wash dishes for $10.25 an hour? (Don't laugh now!) People need to understand that 100% of all job offers by email, text, and fax are fake. Every time. Due Diligence folks.

I received the same offer thru a mine recruiting site in Australia on the 14/08/2013. I did not receive any phone calls from any managers of the company only emails from a man going by the name of Wilfred Adams.
They would not answer most of my questions and kept diverting from what I was asking about the company.
I actually have sent about 80 emails to them to get the correct answers and they have become quite arrogant and aggressive to me . They have started calling me from a number in Ghana , Africa (+233208398737), and have demanded that I pay fees for courier services, medical clearances and custo clearances.
I have paid initial fees for opening a bank account and courier services but have stopped because I have done quite a bit of research on them now. They keep changing email addresses, they want me to send money to people that I don't even know who they are . And now I can't even get onto their website anymore.
I could say more but I think you get my drift by now.
I will mention their names, but not sure if they are real.

I was so nearly scammed by these ruthless people being a female looking for jobs in the mining game but normally something that's too good to be true normally is just so glad I didn't send a copy off my passport and $650.00 for a medical they are good though as Ghana gold mine does exist and the doctors name they use is in Ghana hope these [***] go down and using the career mines website looking for vunerable people trying to get into the mining game I feel sick they could have stolen identidy !!!!
