SCAM FOR SURE. TWO something. They get your # from the interweb guaranteed, scraping craigslist or facebook. I owe nothing and have no legal issues. Just tell them off or don't answer.
A man called wanted to speak to my son's ex-girlfriend. He wanted to confirm a legal document and she gave my number as a contact number. I know this is bull because she owes me money .I think this is debt collector or scam. I hope you take this number off your list as you stated.
They call my mother In law. Says they want to speak to me asking for my number. My brother in law takes over and tells the guy he's not giving my number out. Yet the guy leaves my brother in law with a case number saying If I didn't call immediately I was going to have a warrant out for my arrest. I've never been in trouble so that didn't comcern me at all. I called the police and while on the phone with the officer I was also on the other phone with this so called company. ISL or something like that! I gave them the case number which was given to my brother in law. He then asked for my name. I said you have the case number you tell me who you think I am! He replied' I'm not going to play this game! You want to talk you call us! The officers as well as myself laighed our butts off! TOTAL SCAM!
This number called my cell number earlier, but I don't answer calls from numbers that are not local or I do not recognize. They did not leave a message for me, but ended up calling a cousin that has my maiden name, but asking for me with my married name. Not sure how they connected us as I would never give out my cousin or her number for any reason. They told her they had a legal complaint filed on me and needed my address to send the paperwork. She told them she didn't know how to get in touch with me and they asked if anyone would know how to get in touch, she said maybe her sister in law, but she lived somewhere else. At this point they hung up on her. As a point of reference, I just moved and have been searching for a job so my cell number is listed on many job search engines. Not sure if this is how they found my number or not because I rarely give my cell number out, I just don't have a home phone number at the moment.
