Talked to two women and a guy from this number today. First call was "windows technical department", next was "microsofts technical officer", and the third was a plain old technician from Microsoft.
Apparently my computer has "the virus". I told him is didn't have a computer, and he was very confused.
Yes, got 3 calls this morning from this number. Finally picked up. Lady with a heavy Indian accent came on the line. She said that my computer has been noted to have a lot of virus'. She then asked me to go to my computer and turn it on. She would help me work through the problem. I said, no thank you and hung up. Would you believe, that number called me back about 5 minutes after me hanging up the phone. I did not answer it again. I believe it to be a scam. They want to get information from you, passwords or whatever, in order to steal your information. Beware!
Keeps telling me there is a problem with my computer. Calls multiple times a day. Won't take me off their call list, only stops for a day or two after I yell at them. Really annoying.
