I called back and some guy with a very heavy indian accent answered with just saying hello. I asked who the f they were and he said that I won a gift card for 100 dollars..lol yeah right..and I will sell him a bridge in Brooklyn! Hung up on him. Could barely understand him anyway.
I just got the same call and called it back, it is a rewards call and it gives you the options of pressing 1 to continue or 2 to opt out of further calls, today they were baiting the hook with a $100 gift card to Wal-Mart. It also states that I had visited one of their affiliate sites and opted in to communications, lol
They called, hung up almost immediately, so I called back. "Julie" had recorded a message letting me know that I had visited one of their affiliated websites, and that they were offering me a $100 gift card to a popular store. I then had the option to press 1 to hear more information, or press 2 to be placed on their do not call list. I pressed 2, and have not heard from them since.
I start getting calls like this every few years, and as soon as I call back, and ask to be placed on their no call list they stop.
I received two calls from them. In the morning second call was exactly at 9:50 am. It rang once and then just got disconnected. I thought I would get a message but no message either. I was about to call it back blocked but then thought let me Google it, and that's how I ended up. It's a number from Connecticut, after all these reviews I can assure you I won't even bother to call back. Waste of my time. Please do the same.
