203-502-7659 I don't pick up the phone from unknown numnbers. But caller stated "Connecticut Call" meaning he is calling from an internet number. Such as Google voice etc. For sure coming fro India especially his accent.
Left 3 msg on my answering machine he's got some nerve with his East Indian Accent trying so hard to make his accent as an American. Saying I will be arrested by the Grand Jury if I don't respond to his call. He gave a phoney name like David Grey. So phoney.
I reported it to the Police department and the Donotcallregistry.gov 1-888-382-1222 to be blocked. Plus blocked the call from my phone.

Got 3 calls from this number stating that if we didn't call him we would be sent before a magistrate. The messages are garbled and sound as if they are from overseas but connected via a USA number. It's difficult to understand what information they want, but I didn't call back because I don't want to allow them any type of information.
Hi Wendy. I have been getting the same calls, but up to 15-20 every day. I was able to now block the calls from with my phone company as well as all anonymous calls. I rarely use my landline, but I guess I need to buy new phones because there is no way to turn the ringer off. I am an attorney and you can be sure, that if you were owed money to any government entity, they would notify you by mail first. Never call back, that only confirms they reached a valid number and encourage them to keep trying. My messages sound the same as yours, garbled and hard to understand, but the caller ID is clear !!!!
We received a call from this number saying it was from the Federal Government and we would be taken before the magistrate if we didn't respond back. I Would say is was some kind of scam and we didn't call back and we don't intend to.
