"Verify your google listing" - they are NOT affiliated with google and will hang up when you ask the name of the company. Calling back just gets the stupid and fake message that by pressing "1", your number will be removed from their call list. Do NOT press one - it just lets them know it's a valid, working number and you'll get even more scam calls.

GOOGLE AD SCAM - Voice activated recording "This is Google to verify your listing. Press 1 to verify your ad, press 2 to be removed from our list." I pressed 1 to speak to someone. "This is Robert, may I have your first name?" I said, you called me, what do you want? CLICK (he hung up) - I called the number back using *67 and got a familiar recording from these types of calls "Your # cannot be completed as dialed, please check your # and try again." I tried it again with the *67 using the # 1 in front of the phone #, then again two more times without the *67, using the # 1, then not using it...same recording 3 more times. Bad phone #? Definitely. Spoofed phone #? Probably. This phone # showed up on my Caller ID 6 days prior, I did not answer and no message was left on my answering machine. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and I do have the capability to BLOCK PHONE #'s - but if it's a call from a spoofed phone #, you're SOL.
Received multiple calls over a couple weeks from this number. I never answered any of them and they never left any messages. Still not sure if it's legitimate or not.
