Yes I did this and it works great!!!! Who needs the Do Not Call List. Wal Mart has the Panasonic phone that can block 250 numbers and came with 2 additional cordless phones for under $100.00. You have to it order on-line. You have to program it so it doesn't ring on the first ring to ID the phone number that is calling you. And no more annoying/unwanted phone calls!!!!
I just called this number using a different phone and immediately the recording asked if I wanted to be put on a do not call list from the number that has called me press 1. SO I pressed one, hung up and called back. Listened to the recording again... 3 times as a matter of fact then the recording said thank you for calling and disconnected the call. If that isn't "fishy". They must think we are all stupid. ugh!
203-538-0971 is a number for a marketing company. I was placed on thier list when I purchased a home. It didnt matter that I was on the national donot call registry, they ignore it. When you call the number back, you can press "1" to get removed from their list, so they say. Everyone that gets this spam need to report it on national donot call registry.
