I got a call from this number and it was a recorded message saying I was being prosecuted for federal tax fraud and gave a number I didn't have time to write down and said I had to call immediately. Scared me witless. But the IRS would not call me out of blue or arrest me -- they send lots of notices before they do anything (been there, done that). Will call on Tuesday but wow; I just about lost it there for a minute.
I received a call from that number at 7:41 AM... Geee that is so annoying and also, it only been one week that I have my phone number.....What do I have to do to stop that caller. I live in NB, Canada. I'm glad I read some of your comments cause now I know it's a scam.
If it's the same person...I guess he is calling all around the world.
Because of some things going on in my life, I sometimes answer "Unknown Callers" calls. This time, I was doing 70MPH transporting a wheel-chair dependent lady, so I told the phone "Answer" then 3 times I said "Hello!" with no response on the other end, so I hung up.
