I've told them in the past that my utilities are included in my rental agreement, so they should call my rental agent. Yet, they still call me! I have no authority to change anything but they don't even care. Apparently, their goal is simply to bother people!
I am also getting these calls on my answerings machine several calls a day with the same recorded message as the rest of you. This morning I woke up in a VERY fowl mood and fed up with this BS. I am on the Do Not Call Registry so I went online to the www.DoNotCall.gov to file a complaint and when I went through the process of filing my complaint I found out my phone number somehow fell off the list! Really?? Give me a break! BTW...I tried to call 203-683-6840 back and the number rang and rang and ended with a busy signal. It's a computer line for sure. I'm ready to disconnect my land line. I pay a lot of money every month for a line I don't use-telemarketers are the ONLY people that call it!
Loud, noisy, static-filled robo-call from Intellimark, they called twice so far. Female voice. The message they leave is bizarre: it's the kind of message you get when you get someone's voicemail, as if we called them!
"Thank you for calling Intellimark, a marketing representative for public power. If you know your party's extension, please dial it at any time. If not, please press zero and the next available agent will be more than happy to assist you. Thank you and have a great day."
They want to speak with the person who handles my electric bill. For the 247th time this year, I told them, Stop calling me! If I don't answer, they don't usually leave messages, but...sometimes they do. Is it one company or many? I get three or four a day of these calls.
What's even more annoying, this phone number is close enough in numbers to a REAL phone number I want to receive calls from that I often answer instead of ignoring it.
