It goes right in to my fax machine and they still call 3 or 4 times a day.
Dont they get the message ?
How do they get my landline phone number when it is unlisted ?
robotcall asking "is Harriet there"? then the call disconnects. Called 4 times in 3 days ; twice within 2 hours yesterday. I have blocked their number but they continue to call.
When they call, they ask for me by name and it starts with a laughing hyena saying "I dropped the phone and didn't know you were still on the phone" and then goes into his collecting mode for Veterans. That's when the "human" is finally on. I tell him I'm a disabled American veteran and if he can send me some money. Then he hangs up! Very unprofessional people. I wouldn't give them a penny!
I get calls from this # several times a week in some weeks. ID lists Foundation for American Vets. When I checked them out they are not worthy of being supported. Oddly enough the organization is base in MI - but this # is a Danbury CT # listed as Danbury Veterans. Hope they haven't scammed the local veterans organization. I always let it go to VM and they always hang up without leaving a message.
