Ok, obviously these people are mentally disadvantaged. I had a similar experience as related above. The number belongs to someone named Elvin Tucker, his company, tucker elvin and associates.
A fellow named Brandon from Tuckers called from this number wanting to speak with the owner of our business (knew the name) - I suspected a marketing call because of his accent, and informed him the owner was not available - inquired about matter. Was told he had a note saying to call my boss. I checked with my owner - didn't know anything about the matter and denied the call. Brandon asked to be put on hold until my boss was available. I told him that wasn't an option, and asked for a callback number. Brandon refused (still polite)and asked to be put on hold because of his *note*. I told him my boss hadn't called his company - he interjected here and asked if I was calling him a liar - I said, no, that he was misinformed. He then told me that he would call every day until he got to speak with my boss - I told him that was harassment - and we would call the authorities. He was upset by now (as was I)..I get the impression this company wanted to tie up as much time on the phone for whatever purpose...Do not accept calls from this number.
Very similar to Sue's post above, said he was "Adam Green" from P A Technologies. If P A stand for pompous a$$, they hired the right guy in Adam Green. Hung up on him.
I have told my secretary/wife how many calls I am getting that I waste time on before I hang up. When this guy would not give a reason for the call, she put him on hold. He finally hung up. Waste his time for once. Steve
