I just received a call from them a few seconds ago. I was quite leary. The person on the phone had an old address for me. Her name was "Patricia". She told me to call the finance department at 1-202-559-7869 so they can mail out a certified check for $7,000 to me.
Govt. Grant Scam - They just won't stop. 4th call today - also same callers called from 208-768-7989. Number is reported as "out of service" when called back.
Got a call from them telling me that I was selected to receive $7,000 in govenment grant money. They wanted to know my bank info and after asking was there any other way that I could receive the money they said check but it would take up to 5 business days. After asking several other questions they finally hung up the phone. P.S. They were able to tell me all of my mailing address info.
Called twice. First time they hung up. The second time there was a female voice with an accent who asked for Thomas. I told her that I was looking at the number on the computer and was tracing it as she talked. She hung up.
