I received a call today from this number, they left a message with for a different name. When I called back to tell them I was not who they were looking for they asked for the number they called. Then suddenly i was who they were looking for. Very unprofessional.
Ss are you talking about phone 2052350031...who are they...called me and said he was a lawyer..had to put another woman on to further explain the situation...lawyers don't have to have someone else explain for them???? we all speak english
Whitney Rosen & Assoc. stating they will be at my house between 5-7 to sever papers and if we aren't there they will be forced to let the county know. 1st Louisiana has parishes not counties. and they don't even have the correct persons number.
So far as I can find out, Whitney Rosen and Associates is a phantom debt scamming operation. They call from: 704-209-7877, 832-241-7077, 504-515-0195, 714-263-8638, 618-207-4775 and may call from other numbers. Nothing but baseless threats of prosecution, allegations of phony bond surety claims, threats of service of process. Weak or non-existent claims of debts of some sort or another. Will not provide any written proof of the debt claims. Same old, same old. Will not give you an address but say they are in Chicago.
If you call their numbers, you also get a large call-center in the background.
Personally I think this group is in New York, but I can't prove it.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a dime until the debt is validated
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.
If they are bothering you, report them:

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because, being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking), the only thing they understand.
