These "scummers" called my home phone 7 times yesterday. I am so disgusted with having a land line, that I have to keep the ringer off, the answering machine off and the fax on. I am so bombarded by these scummers all day long, my phone rings off the hook, up to 12 calls a day from these unsavory pieces of garbage. Now I am getting calls earlier and earlier every morning. When I used to have the ringer off but kept the answering machine on, then I would get jarred awake by the machine picking up the call. Most scummers leave an ear splitting noise across the phone lines just to torture us, I have been awoken by that sound too many times, so everything is just off now. I have received calls from them at 6 am before!
The only reasons I keep paying for the service of having a land line, are: 1. emergencies, and 2. if I need to call someone and my cell is dead or can't be found at the moment, and 3. because nowdays every time you fill out a form, they are asking for a phone number. I refuse to give my cell number to anyone that I don't know personally. Yeah, that's all I need; the scummers to start calling my cell as often as they call my land line. So, I give out my land line number and the scam calls never end. I keep watch on the caller id, and if I recognize a number or the ID name, then I call back and apologize for the fax they got in their ear. That would be companies, as my friends have my cell number.
I've received two calls yesterday, 12/29/14, from this number. Three today. These are coming to my cell phone. I don't answer.
I want them to stop calling!!!!!!!

Please FCC or WHOEVER. Track this company calling because they a disturbing the ill elderly as well as everyone. They are harassing to all. 205-277-2281
