Here is my story and a number they will answer, if not the first time call back, they will answer.....Does anyone give to the peace officers association? They are the rudest men I have ever had to deal with. The first guy refused to put MY # on the no call back list because MY husband have contributed to their fund in the past. He was actually arguing with me about taking my number off and said, "I need to talk to your husband". HUH NO....this is my number. This was over a week ago. Then he called again tonight....Said he was not the same person. Sounded the same and again was arguing about taking my number off his call list. I finally got a number of his "supervisor" (yeah sure). When I called his "supervisor" he tried to argue with me. THIS IS A WARNING!!! IF YOU EVER GIVE TO THIS ORGANIZATION THEY WILL HARASS YOU ABOUT GIVING AGAIN!!! The first man "said" his name was Will Dunn and his supervisor's name is Brad Durham, phone # 1-866-963-2377. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I would also like to know if the officers of Georgia actually receive any funds from this organization.
Got a call from them last night at 6:59. Husband answered the phone and was asked if we wanted to donate to families of deceased police and firefighters. Husband forgot to tell them we are on the national do not call list. He just said no thanks and they hung up.
This man just called my home from 1 205-313-0897 and asked to speak to my wife, I told him that she wasn't available and if I could take a message, but the man hung up. I called back using my cell phone, but a recording said "we are sorry but the number you have dialed can not be reached from your specila phone"
We get calls from this number at least once daily, and they always hang up. When we try to call the number back, we only get something stating that we can not make the call on our phone. It is really annoying because we are constantly interupted during supper and our infant son is often awakened by the call.
