Caller ID said "Birmingham,AL" under the calling number 1-205-322-3644; didn't leave a message. Didn't bother to call back. If caller ID unrecognizeable or mysterious or I don't know calling number AND they can't leave a message, this is what I do. Really appreciate seeing the other inputs to this 800Notes web page; reduces stress level by having some idea what the call may have been about.
called the operator to try to identify the person -- number comes up as unlisted or unused number. was told by operator to call the police in response to my request of who to contact to report phone abuse.
