Ironically this man with a thick accent also had the last name of Smith:), and was calling from a law firm in Alabama. Yeah, right. He didn't like it when I laughed at how ridiculous his whole scam was. Same as others, he was calling to ask about the bladder sling surgery I had in the past, when I said no, I hadn't, he asked about my hip replacement. When again I said no, he hung up. Blocked the number but at least this was funny one.
Birmingham, Ala. caller ID. Man with "East Indian" accent asked for name of person who does not live here and never has. When I said he had the wrong number, he asked "are you sure". I hung up so don't know what the scam is.... but I received the same call from a number in New Jersey about 2 weeks ago with the same lame question "are you sure". I would laugh if it wasn't so tiresome. These robo scammer out of India have been calling me for over 6 years..... it's time for it to STOP.
The caller had an accent.i didn't understand what company he said he was with, then he identified himself as Daniel. He said he was calling in reference to a surgery I'd had a few years ago. I told him I was wasn't telling him any information and hung up.
