This guy has been messing with me as well....here is his email, my response, and his follow up email.  His email address is [email protected]

My response:
I'm sorry, but the only payment we accept is cash or Paypal.  We will not accept personal checks or certified checks. If you would like to pay through PayPal, I will gladly send you an invoice.

I hope you can understand, but if I accept a personal check, then I will be responsible for any fees on my account if it bounces.

Once again, we only accept cash or Paypal....if this does not work, then I am unwilling to take a chance and sell.  If you are willing to do one of the methods listed above, please feel free to contact me.  If not, please understand that i will not negotiate on this.

However, I was first contacted as if it was a legit sell through Craigslist.  Claiming it was for his son but then became wishy-washy.  I run a personalized phone case business out of my home and there is no way I am going to let the "shipper" come take a look. I'm not that stupid.

I became fishy about it all when he would never respond to me to tell me which product he was interested in.  He was only about sending me this damn check.

This scammer needs to go down!  This scam could really hurt someone badly.

Same message from "Ronald Barrett". Different phone-805-613-7639. Same fake check but I took it to "his" bank. Googled addresses, one a fake university in a For Sale office building in Ohio and the other in an abandoned warehouse in Califorinia. I lost him when I told him he would have to contact the Bank's Fraud Department to get his money and check back.

Yeah the scam is on glide now...social media sites

So when you receive the check and it fully cleared from your bank, get your item fee and the rest goes to the movers via western union so that the furniture will be picked up and delivered directly to my house
