I have had numerous calls from this phone number stating I owe them from a payday loan back in 2011. When asking for verification of the debt they refuse to provide any information. Asked for there address to have my lawyer send them a letter they refused and hung up.

Called me this morning and said I have a summons for a payday loan taken out in 2011 OR 2012 ( very vague ) she fished around for my info, asking me the last 4 of my social, email address, etc... I asked what the name of her company was and she said a&d recovery.....I then asked for a validation of debt....she got very animated and said '' you have had collection companies send you tons of letters'' I then asked her if she could tell me where she was located so I could send a cease and desist letter....she said '' oh no! why do you need that, you can just send it to me''....come on. .....I then asked if she was located in Alabama and she said ...''um, we have a corporate office there in the area...'' I said well it looks like your number is 205-379- 0298 on my caller id, so you must be nearby! immediately hung up on me, dropped call....so yeah....scam for sure.
