When I responded, she couldn't hear me, then hung up because she didn't get a response.
Sounded like a debt collector. but idk
For landlines, get a call blocker.
For smartphones, call-blocking apps are available.
For simple cell phones, assign the number a silent ringtone, or give it a name like "HANG UP QUICK" so you quickly know the calling phone number is unwanted.
