This number keeps calling my home several times a day when I'm at work. I have a VoIP phone service and have added the number to my personal block list, yet the calls still get through. This leads me to believe that the name (Bank of America) and number that appears on my Caller ID and in my online call log are "spoofed" and is indeed not the *real* number that is calling me. This seems to me as if it would be a form of fraud and very illegal ... I've file a complaint with both the Do Not Call registry (of which my number has been on for 4 years) and with my VoIP provider and I plan on filing others with any place I can find. I hope these scammers/fraud artists get caught and put out of business!
This number claims to be Bank of America but I doubt it. Looks like another spoof number and name attempt by Portfolio Recovery debt buyers to trick you into answering and giving up information. They will even use a legit company name. Card services is also them. If you have been getting calls about lowering your credit card rate thank Portfolio Recovery.
We keep getting calls from "Bank of America" and blocking the numbers only for them to use a different number. I tried calling the number and only got a message thanking me for calling Bank of America and not allowing me to speak with anyone before hanging up. They call multiple times daily using new numbers every day.
