This number shows up on caller id in our home also.
Message you get when you call the number back, "Number can not be reached from this special phone 2051."
What does that mean?
Very rude individuals. Always ask for someone who doesn't live here and then has a smart assed remark when you try to find out who they are trying to reach. Very annoying. I'd like to find out who these annoying [***] are. I am also on the "do not call" list.
When these people call, DO NOT pick up. If you call the number back, is says " You can not reach this number from your phone. If they call back, just let it ring and don't pick up or let you answering machine answer. Don't give them the satisfaction of a response. Sooner or later the maggots will give up.
My Caller ID shows 205-402-4528 POA GEORGIA. As you suggested, I've never answered. Your comments, and the others I've seen on line, were very helpful and tell me I'm doing the right thing by not answering. Thanks.
