This number (2054094331) called me , Its a man, his name is Chris , he said he was coming by my house or my job tomorrow to deliver some important papers. He then states that he don't know what the papers are he just delivers them, then the dummy says to come outside of my job with my supervisor and 2 forms of ID, then the dummy said he is on his way over ... Never heard anything else from them
Just received a call from this number from a guy named Tom Wallace asking if I will be home around 5pm so he can serve me some papers to sign. I hung up in his face. He called back and was sent to voicemail. He left a message saying he guess I hung up in his face and to make sure I have some form of id on me around 5pm so he can deliver whatever and don't make his job difficult because he wont get paid....smh Guess you wont be getting paid buddy! Lol. I politely put him on "Mr Number" a call block app. When he calls again he will wont even be able to leave a message.
My daughter received a call from this number today on her job. The caller told her, his name was John and he was a private carrier that he had papers to serve her and that she would need to be available between 12 noon and 3pm with 2 forms of ID and a witness. If she was not available that he would track her down and she would suffer the consequences. We have reported this to Law Enforcement it is illegal to threaten people like this. What possible satifaction can someone get from doing this?
They're sleazy scammers, trying to scare people into paying bogus debts. They use the threat of being served lawsuit papers, being arrested, calling people's work etc, to intimidate those they call. Please do report your caller to the FTC, FBI, Dept of Justice and your state's Attorney General.
