Came up as an Alabama number. Heavily accented male called to inform me that I owed the IRS over 5K. I played along, asked for details of which he had none other than I had made some serious errors between the years of 2012-2015 and I needed to take care of this right away. After telling him I had already been audited and was paid in full he told me this was an additional 5K in mistakes that they just found. I continued to play dumb asking all kinds of questions and he was getting irritated. Especially when I asked where he was calling from. He of course was calling from Washington D.C. headquarters. I told him I didn't believe him and then he started getting very agitated. He asked if I was at home alone and said he was going to come to my house. I laughed and said are you coming all the way from from D.C. or Alabama? Then he got very rude and very obscene. I got bored and hung up. Total waste of his time...12 minutes
