This is a scam. I was told they were receiving error messages from my computer regarding Microsoft. It sounded like a phishing scam... Wanted me to turn my computer on so they could "help" me. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO>.. HANG UP!
Call from this number 2054195840 is a scam. A woman name Frank Williams stated that they were receiving error messages from my computer regarding Microsoft. I asked her to leave her number. She give 2054195840. She said her office base is in Indiana.She wanted me to turn my computer on so they could "help" me. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO.
I also recieved a call from this number telling me the same info about an errror message I asked for the number and website and then researched it and found this thank you for posting
I too received this call, both yesterday and today. He told me he was with Microsoft and he was going to help me clean up some virus. So, I called him back and the phone would ring once or twice. Obviously a fraud. His name is James one day and Sean the next. Sounds from India or somewhere, but he does have that accent. Why do people try and scam others that want to do the right thing? Send them to jail, Please!
