Got a call from this number within 5 min of using it at a gas station. Caller stated that my card was just used at a shell in Florida for 25 dollars. I was immediately suspicious and explained I had just used it and asked him to verify the amount. He knew the amount of 30 dollars immediately. And said he would cancell my card and a new one would arrive within 5 to 7 business days. This did not sit right. I then notice his phone number said wireless caller........ "WTH"???
I call it back sure enough it was as a default mobile carrier message picked up and did not have vmail set up. I called the bank and cancelled my card immediately.
They did tell me that corporate headquarters is based in Birmingham Alabama. Where the listed wireless number 1 (205) 420-2800 is also from. I google the number and wow I see this guy has been busy doing this to tons of people.
Called Regions and asked about this number. They said it was the fraud dept. and they did catch someone using my card.They person never asked for any account information. However, when I called the number back, it was the voice mail of a hispanic male laughing. I am very upset and confused. We cancelled our cards and plan on cancelling our account in order to protect our money. I am not sure what is going on or how my card number was exposed as it has not been out of my sight. Thats the world we live in.

Got a call from this number, a man said he was with Regions Bank and did I make a purchase in Ga in the amount of $$$ I said No and he said my card was now cancelled and a new one would be sent out in 2-3 days, He did not ask for any personal information except to verify my address. I called the number back and the voice mail recorder said there was no voice mail set up, I called Regions and cancelled my card immediately..
