A man called from this number and asked for either my mother or my father. Neither were available since they no longer live here. I just told the mant hey were unavailable since I did not know who was calling and it was none of his business. I asked if I could take a message and he totally ignored me, then just hung up the phone without another word. This place calls usually once or twice a week, never leaves a message, and I have not answered before this call. Below I listed how they show up on caller ID (Company name?) and the number , though it changes sometimes.

We received a message from this number (same id) stating that they were verifying a pick-up. I didn't respond, figured it was a wrong number. A truck with two white men showed up at our house, saying they were from the Foundry for a scheduled pick-up. They had my husband's name. We told them we did not schedule a pick-up and they said they would cancel it. We tried to call the number back and got a busy signal. Something doesn't seem right - BEWARE!!
If people would use the amazing internet to investigate before jumping to paranoid conclusions, they would find (rather easily) that Googling "The Foundry Res 424-9153" displays links to The Foundry Rescue Mission & Recovery Center......a rehab facility/organization in Bessemer, AL. The phone calls are undoubtedly for the purpose of asking for donations of unwanted clothing, furniture, etc.
