This company uses an Alabama area code. The company claims to be Loan Depot,LLC out of Foothill Ranch, CA 92610 (888-337-6888 X1791). The gentleman I spoke with claimed to be a Dennis Young (off# 888-337-6888x1791),(cell # 909-762-5645) a Senior Mortgage Banker for this company (home lender) claiming to have it's headquarters (recently moved) to TX. He claimed that the company has an A+ rating with the BBB. I checked for he city and zip with BBB.org and three companies came up. Two had no affilliation with BBB and this company had neither a "yes" or "no" affiliation. The gentleman has a "good game" but the things he would say sound too good to be sure since I've had a hard problem trying to re-finace my home loan. He could get me back into a VA Home Loan, which no other loan company before could do it. Once telling him that he ruffled some papers and stated your credit score had just dropped a few points and we would try for a conventional loan but it it would still save you money. He'd asked for $150.00 to start the paperwork for a Land Surveyur to come out and check the property and for me to gather certain information to be faxed (949-461-3791) So I gave him my card number. He said okay and will get with me later and wanted me to look on his web site where there would be some paperwork for to print off and sign and mail back Also, if you go to the web site of loan depot you will find a picture of the supposed gentleman in the left corner. Oh, about the money I sent....that account was closed in 200....1. So how it cleared is mind boggling.
Been calling me a few times with no message, finally left one that was an automated message about some Home Loan I apparently applied for. This wasn't the case.
