If this is simply a debt collector, he's trying to intimidate you. You cannot be locked up for debt. The only exceptions to this are for child support, tax evasion or contempt of court in very rare instances.
Give us more "poop" on your problem and someone here will be happy to jump in and help. We love to skewer bogus and fraudulent collectors. It's a passion for alot of us. We hate to see people being victimized. And we do it for free!
