Getting calls from this number after my mother applied for 2 different loans, one out of a bank in Texas, the other out of South Carolina. I have been given different names for the company this number is used for, told them twice now to take my number off their list. Can't remember exact names but they are all "Advanced Payday" related. They have called several times, usually within 45-60 minutes between calls, all have a foreign Indian accent. How they got my house number when it was only given to 2 online loan banks is beyond me, tempted to get mom's laptop and find the exact sites she put apps in and send them letters telling them how I'm going to sue for selling my contact information out.
The Caller ID just lists "Tuscaloosa AL" along with the number "205-535-1259."
I answered because my mother in law lives in Tuscaloosa and we were expecting a call from her (I thought she might be calling from a friend's house or from a new cell phone).
Anyway, I answered the phone and this guy on the other end said that he was calling in behalf of the Alabama State Troopers Association. (I thought to myself: "Oh no - not THESE GUYS again!!!) He asked for a promise of a monetary donation, in return for a "Pledge Kit" which would include a window decal (saying that you gave a donation to the Alabama State Troopers Association). I said : “Let me think about it.” He said, well let me send you a pledge kit. All we ask is that you promise to give at least $15 once you receive the pledge kit.” I said: “Let me think about it.” He got mad and said something like: “Well maybe we can count on your support for next year’s campaign.” and hung up.

These ppl refuse to stop calling ,when I answer they tell me I been approved for a loan I didn't apply for I tell them over and over plz take my number off ur list but they refuse to I'm tired of them calling and don't know how to make it STOP!!!
