I usually don't answer unfamiliar phone numbers but a friend was ill so I thought it could be a family member calling. After I answered the call there was a pause then a woman said my name. I said yes and she told me the last 4 of my SS, my address and my full name. Weird. She said she was calling to collect a debt for 2 internet purchases. I told her I had no idea what she was talking about and ask how she got my personal information. She told me she uses skip tracing and that I would receive a letter in the mail. Also the call was recorded & she was marking me as a refusal to pay.
Now I will never answer the phone with a number I don't recognize.
