This is a debt collection company by the name of Garret & Associates, they are based in Alabama, they are not legitimate, and they are coming after you for an old payday loan, that you may or may not have, in either case chances are this is such an old debt that it has been sold to this firm for pennies on the dollar and is uncollectable, continue to go about your business.
Debt collectors who like to try to frighten you into paying a debt that may or may not be valid by using legal terminology to convince the unwitting that they are about to be taken to court. This will not happen.
got a call message looking for tracy hill at my home phone number . they said to call them or have my attorney get in touch with them. Had no idea what it was about. called and left them a message that Tracy Hill did not live here and had not for 10 years. They never called me back.
