On May 6, I got a call from 205-564-3064 asking me to give $20.00 to A Child's Wish that will be used to grant a wish for a terminally ill child. When I asked them if they were a 504C3 charity, the lady named "Malissa" answered YES. Today, May 9, I received a letter and invoice directing me to make the check out to A.C.W.A.A. They also claim to have a Tax ID # 206-1321377. I will check it out to see if it is legit before giving a donation. So far, I haven't found a website that lists them as a legitimate charity. No Better Business Bureau data is available either.

Received a call from them at 7am on the 10th of May 2015.This is how the link is presented on the web.
The lady calling said she was calling for "A Child's Wish".
The lady calling - ask for me by first name as if she knew me.
I ask where she was calling from and she said Birmingham, AL.
I then ask her - how much goes to "A Child's Wish".
She said 17% goes to the "A Child's Wish".
I then ask her who gets the other 83% ?
She did not answer.
I ask her how much she got of the 83%?
She then hung up on me after calling me stupid.
This is a scam beware
