This company left message on our phone to have our daughter call this number about an important matter and a case reference number. When I called, a "Kenisha" said the company was "Steinberg & Associates" an "arbitration firm" in Georgia. Our daughter's credit problem was resolved over ten years ago. We have had similar harassment calls from similar companies. I told this company that if we received further calls I would file a formal complaint to the Federal Government regarding use of interstate communications to commit fraud against us.
Just received a message from my sister that i had to call this number and had a reference # along with it.
I called, lady answered "temp agency how can i help you" i said i keep getting calls on a relatives cell that is not even mine from this number, i asked her name and she said kim, she says is this____ and says my first and last name, i said yes then asked me for 4 digits of social for privacy then i said where i you calling from with out giving my social she says from steinberg & associates, i then said but you just answered the phone " temp agency how can i help you" she then says man can i have your last 4 digits of your social i said no you just said temp agencie how can i help you. She then raises her voice and says i am going to hang up, and she hangs up. That's how i ended up here searching for the number. Scam number do not give them any of your information.
We just got a call from my SIL. Sum1 frm this #(205-564-6800) lft a message on their land line ystrday, asking for me, lft the # & a "case #." She was rather upset by this, thinking that I had given out their #. For 1, I would nvr do that w/o permission & 2, we didn't even have their land line, anywhere! I do not know how in the world these ppl even kno that we are related (different last names, etc.) &/or why they would bother a family member, esp before contacting me???
