i got a no-message call too on Friday. I'm in Virginia so don't know if this is a political robocall, survey, medical debt collector or other type of telemarketing. At least one of last week's unknown callers was linked to InfoCision Management Corporation, does all 4 using call centers in Ohio and other states. Last week's other deliberately unknown callers to this cellphone (also illegal) included 240-595-6892,.202-350-2776 (which googling now links to Level 3 communications, a huge Colorado internet services company) and 703-239-7311 (supposedly scammer hijacked). The last called my phone almost immediately after I posted on 800notes concerning fraud calls to my elderly father in Chicago.
FYI, I didn't pay a supposed medical debt in D.C. backed by altered medical records--the 'privacy officers' purportedly responsible for insuring that integrity (part of HIPAA, particularly as amended by the HiTech Act in 2010) bragged about political clout in both parties and 'all regulators,' They particularly bragged about the current Virginia administration's lax enforcement, but also favoritism on the federal level putting them in effect above the law (including the FDCPA which I followed). So neither party's clean, no matter what their ads say.
