I answered before I checked this website. It was a computer voice that just said "goodbye". I thought it was funny. Now I know not to answer this call.

We have recently been receiving calls from this number. I used to answer and try to talk to these people, but now I just ignore any call from any number I don't recognize. If it is someone legit they will leave a message and I can call them back. I truly believe that if you answer the call you just get even more calls as it verifies that your number is a valid one. So, I avoid the frustration and just ignore them, but I do understand if they were calling multiple times a day that might be harder to do and much more of a pain. Just ignore them. That's my suggestion.
I just started getting these. Caller ID says Alabama so I know it's fake. I also use *78 so it rings once or twice and goes away. Autodialers can't leave a message. Scam calls are rare now, maybe a couple a week. Saves me brain cells. I used to get a couple a day.
