Received automated female voice phone call message at 6:59 am claiming to be the IRS stating that the IRS has been attempting to get ahold of me for an IRS LAWSUIT and to call this number.
I got the same pre-recorded message yesterday saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I got the SAME message today from phone number 954-388-3017.
I was initially concerned about the first call because my bf's online tax notifications were set up to come to my phone when he filed this year, so I sent the message on to him. He was completely calm about it and reminded me that the IRS doesn't communicate issues by phone. He said they still send paper mail for such notifications or questions. I vaguely recall hearing something like that a few years ago.
