Message said they have software to avoid computer hijacking. Sweet female voice recording. Trying to build trust in the calling with a kind voice. Not. Also got a call from another number the other day and the voice message had a very polite British male voice with same scam offer.
Folks - don't answer unknown calls, ever! Especially from distant area codes like this one.
Have now blocked the 205 area code. No calls from that area code can make our phones ring.
Please purchase a call blocking telephone or a blocking device that can block entire area codes.
Got call from this number answered "Thanks for calling KBBL talk radio your on the air!" Heard someone catch their breath then silence for about 3 seconds then hung up.
