Called twice this am from a Seattle # , blocked the #
so they called this afternoon using another # and left a message
saying they were from the IRS & needed to talk to me about
an investigation being launched into my taxes & to please call them back at
206-------- between 9-4 in your time zone.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Just got a call this morning (6/01/15) around 9 a.m., guy sounds Indian, claims to be from the IRS. Says I'm under investigation for tax fraud and to call 206-201-2091 asap. (Seattle area code.) Is there a government agency where we can report these scams, particularly those that involve impersonating federal agents?
Called my cell phone; foreign guy left the most garbled message! :p Could barely understand accent - sounded like he said "observation" instead of "tax evasion" and "lassoo" instead of "law suit". LOL, unbelievable!!! Checking in here to say DO NOT ANSWER or call them back - it's a nasty scam. Reporting to TIGTA after I post this.
Same as others are reporting...heavy foreign accent, garbled message re. being sued and assets being seized. Called repeatedly during a one hour period of time.
