It is not a scam. I saw the apartment yesterday. The apartment is just like in the pictures. I will let you know if I will rent the apartment. It is a nice lady who want to rent the apartment. I don't have an high score... I will let you know if I will rent the apartment.
I think this number is a scam. All the apartments they list are unbelievably amazing deals. You can't get a 1BR in Brooklyn Heights for $1100, I know this for a fact. Nor a 2BR in a swanky building in Georgetown for $1400.
Plus, they use some of the same photos in different ads for different cities. AND, Craigslist is removing all their ads from its site. That's all the information that I have, but this is obviously too good to be true. I think they are hoping you'll fax your credit score, complete with name, address, and SSN on it. Makes for a good identity theft scam. But I can't say for sure. If it's too good to be true, it probably is!
