What a loser. Said his name was Officer Eric from the IRS with all the normal thread. Clearly new nothing about the United States and was less convincing or intimidate then the average 4 year old. It was a recording with no information about me. Was dial by a computer that dials random numbers. If you get a call the from same one saying it the IRS . It's a Scan. The only way you may get a call is if you have be in contact with them on a open case. IRS contacts by Mail ( Post Mail). NOT PHONE or EMAIL.
Im getting so many of these I just ignore them Especially the fax line I have Starts out
We have been trying to contact you and the old there was fraud in your income tax blah bla blah THE IRS DOES NOT CALL YOUR FIRST CONTACT IS ALWAYS A LETTER TELLING YOU WHAT IS WRONG AND WHO TO CONTACT
Do not be influenced by tv shows showing IRS agents and phone calls showing up unexpectedly it dont happen AND DONT MAIL/WIRE MONEY TO ANYWHERE EXCEPT UTAH OR COLORADO THEY DONT COLLECT MONEY FROM ANYONE AND TELL THEM TO SEND IT TO AN OFFSHORE BANK
Scam call. Claiming they're from the irs about some money you own so on and so on. Told them i don't have enough money to pay for the whole thing which he claimed was $2,400. He said if i hang up they are going to send my info to the lawyers and could send me to jail and a fine for $34,000 for "avoiding to pay". I told them i only have about 200 dollars at the moment and this idiot responded "well we can accept that" i asked several irrelevant questions to waste as much time as i could because the quicker i hang up the more chance they have to find another victim. Don't be a victim do your research before sending/purchasing from random callers.
