Received an automated message from this number stating that I was under investigation from the US Treasury for tax evasion. Naturally I was curious and called the number back when a man with a heavy Indian accent answered- at this point I knew this was a scam. I gave him a fake name and my real cell number that had been called, and when he asked for a person I have never heard of before (this is all your doing Pam Berry!) I told him that I had no clue who that person was. At this point, he told me to "stop messing around little girl" and not to "try to trick me, baby" and then kept saying "thank you, thank you" over and over when I attempted to express my outrage at his nasty attitude. I was then hung up on and when I tried calling back, it went straight to a voicemail message that is so clearly NOT associated with the US Treasury it's comical. My guess is that this is either a scam or a collection agency resorting to extreme measures to get their money.
